ATSU includes the founding school of osteopathic medicine--Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCOM) and the School of Health Management (SHM) on the Kirksville, Missouri Campus and the Arizona School of Health Sciences (ASHS), the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH), and the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (SOMA) on the ATSU Mesa campus. Andrew Taylor Still established ATSU's founding college, KCOM, over 110 years ago. With the addition of four new schools, ATSU remains a leader in comprehensive medical education, research, and healthcare throughout the world. ATSU offers master of science degrees occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, athletic training, and human movement. Professional doctorates are offered in audiology (Au.D.), physical therapy (D.P.T)., dentistry (D.D.S.) and osteopathic medicine (D.O). ASHS matriculates approximately 400 new students each year with over 1,000 students on the Mesa campus annually in the various programs of ASHS, ASDOH and SOMA.
